Three tips to spark engagement

If you want to please the algorithm pixies, then you need to be sparking engagement every time you post on social media. When your posts are engaging, people will like and share them which puts your message in front of more people, who in turn could engage, and could potentially become supporters
 
And as your post receives more engagement, Facebook/Instagram will give it higher priority in news feeds. And then, because it knows your post was engaged with, it will serve your next post to more people increasing your visibility.
 
So, sparking engagement has to be a top priority right?… but how do you do this?

Here are my VIP tips for engagement on social media:

V – give value, every time you post make sure you are adding value. Ask yourself ‘Why is what I’m posting important?’, ‘Why is anyone bothered?’, ‘Why does it matter?’ – if you give people something they need in your posts, they are more likely to engage with you

I – post scroll-stopping images. If you create content that grabs attention, it is more likely to be engaged with. And it doesn’t have to just be images, try video, infographics, post questions, even go live on your page – anything that is going to catch people’s eye and encourage them to engage.
P – show your personality. There will no doubt be lots of people or organisations who offer the same, or similar, products or services as you, so you need to define what makes you special. Add personality to your posts to make them memorable and leave people wanting more!
