Good Vibrations - how to satisfy the algorithms...
Are you giving off good vibrations on social media? When was the last time you went to a party or networking event (pre-Covid of course) talked rubbish AT people, didn’t bother to listen to people or answer their questions and then just left?
Never? And if you did, I’m guessing you didn’t make many friends, right?
It’s much the same for satisfying Facebook’s / Instagram’s algorithm – if you charge in all guns blazing, announce nothing of value, try to sell and don’t talk with people, then you’re not going to get very far…
But, if you add value, socialise on the platform and engage with people with great quality posts, video and photos, then your content will rank more highly with the algorithm and get served to more people.
Don’t think about social media as somewhere to broadcast your message. The clue is in the name, be SOCIAL and you’ll be feeling those good vibrations before you know it!
